Thank you for your interest in the Sutter Fund Charity
Golf Classic to be held at the River Bend Golf Course on
July 16, 2010.
With the help of our many volunteers and our many sponsors The
Sutter Fund has been able to raise significant funds for distribution
to various worthy associations throughout Central Alberta. Since
1996 The Sutter Fund tournaments have raised over $1,800,000.00.
The Sutter Fund has been successful because of the efforts of our
volunteers and because of the sponsorship provided by many businesses
in Western Canada.
Brent Sutter, Brian Sutter, Judy Sutter and Connie Sutter are the
Directors of The Sutter Fund, which is a non-profit company incorporated
pursuant to Alberta legislation The Sutter Fund is operated solely
by volunteers. None of the funds raised are used to pay salary,
wages or commission to anyone involved in our fund raising activities.
Our tournament hosts 234 golfers. Our registration night and public
live and silent auctions are held at the Black Knight Inn on the
evening before the tournament.
Our first tee giveaway package given to each golfer contains items
that may include our sponsors’ names and logos. Some of the
items that have been first tee giveaways in the past are golf towels,
golf tool sets, golf shoe bags, golf putters, golf balls, hats,
autographed hockey sticks, golf tees and coffee mugs. Sponsorship
of these items offers residual advertising to our sponsors, as their
corporate logos remain on display with the Sutter Fund logo after
our tournament is over.
